Financial Year Ending: 31 December 2025
This statement is made pursuant to section 54(1) of the Modern Slavery Act 2015 and sets out the
steps that Elgin Shaw has taken during the financial year to ensure that modern slavery and human
trafficking are not taking place in our business or supply chains.
1. Our Business
Elgin Shaw is a Recruitment Advisory Consultancy based in London, England, UK.
2. Our Supply Chains
Our supply chains include the procurement of office supplies, IT equipment and professional
services. Where possible, we work with suppliers who share our commitment to ethical practices
and human rights.
3. Our Policies
We are committed to preventing modern slavery and human trafficking in all areas of our operations
and supply chains. Our policies reflect our commitment to acting ethically and with integrity in all
our business relationships. These include:
4. Due Diligence and Risk Assessment
Given the nature and size of our business, we assess the risk of modern slavery within our direct
operations to be low. However, we remain vigilant and undertake informal checks when engaging
with new suppliers, especially those who operate in higher-risk industries or countries.
5. Training
While our size limits the scope of formal training, we ensure that all employees are made aware of
the signs of modern slavery and understand how to report any concerns. We will review our training
approach periodically to ensure continued awareness.
6. Effectiveness
We monitor our supply chain relationships and internal practices annually to identify any potential
risk areas. To date, we have not identified any instances of modern slavery or human trafficking in
our business or supply chains.
7. Approval
This statement has been approved by the directors of Elgin Shaw Limited.
